Big problems...
We switched over from Analog to Digital trunks so I replaced the analog trunk card with a digital T card. At cut over I had a few problems with the DTI card but eventually I got the lines configured properly and we are all set. However, I am getting complaints that external calls are dropping and once they drop, the user tries to get another outside line and the systems alerts that all lines are busy. I put an IP monitor on it to see if the system is restarting. A few times a day the day they system is restarting. A look into the Application log reveals several thousand of these Event IDs listed below
Voice Software, 0, 324, This event is generated
when the short-term alarm threshold has been surpassed in the Digital Trunk I
interface module for the detection of a severely errored second. The module is i
n a no-new-calls state. DTCM = 0. Intervention is required to find out why the
Digital Trunk Interface module is alarmed.
Can someone point me in the right troubleshooting direction?
thanks
Andrew
