digital to analog converter

anyone now of a specific brand that works on a Magix system. I have a customer that needs (1) analog extension, but has no analog ports available. they do have a digital port available and I have heard of digital to analog converters, but everywhere I call tells me they do not work on a Magix, only on a definity. anyone know of one that does work on a magix. any help is much appreciated.

On an MLX phone yu can add on an MFM, multi-function module, which will give you an analog port, but the same is not true with a 44XX set. If you hve a 44xx phone, it's a no-go. On a Definity there is a data module that will get you what you want, but not for the Magix. Frankly, the easiest way to go is to add on an 016 analog board.

I've heard that there are some third-party devices that can transform a digital port to an analog port. I wasn't sure if anyone knew of one that worked off a Magix TDL port or not. It doesn't sound like it.

Well, as a matter of fact, I just got word of a device for DIGITAL to ANALOG conversion from Konexx.

I found info at the website:

What I was told about was a way to connect an ANALOG POLYCOM thru a MLX or TDL phone with this device.

I have not seen or tested one, but I may get the oppertunity soon.
