Digital Signatures

I need a quick lesson on digital signatures.

Say I create a PDF I need signed by 3 people. I create the PDF and I sign it (invisible).

1) How do they know it's me? SUB: I know there's a file (name.apf) that is my signature and all. But do I send them my signature file with the PDF?

I have more questions but it's really based off the 1st questions answer.

You have to email your certificate to them, and they have to add this to their list of trusted certificates
