I am trying to setup several Digital Prioris XL 5166 servers with Linux (RH 8.0), but can't even get the boot disk to recognise the CD. Even IPCop won't install!

I have even tried to install W2K just as a test, and I get the same problem. This is happening on 3 different servers! I have checked the legacy digital info on Compaq's (okay, HP's) website, but find little of any help.

I just need these servers to act as basic firewall/proxy/DHCP servers for a network of only a dozen PCs (or less!). The client is a charity hence the desire to use Linux to minimise costs.

Is there a trick to this or what???

Thanks in advance, Dave T
