Digital phone port numbers

Good day peoples. I am about to remove an NEC 8100 and replace it with a different brand PBX. Both the NEC and the new system are running digital phones. What I am after is an easy way to tell which physical port on which card a phone is connected to. There's a feature code on Norstar/BCM and on the old Toshiba DK systems that you punch in and the phone will display the physical port number. As I said, this is a 8100 cabinet and I'm using 300 series digital telephone sets.
