Hi,

Does any know if the Avaya phone 6402 model(without display)
work ok in the Avaya IPoffice 406 ?

Of course, The IPoffice have a digital 30 DIG module.

Thanks in advance.

Gustavo

The 6402 is not a *SUPPORTED* device. I have heard of people getting the 6402 to work, with minimal problems.

Note, I said SUPPORTED. This means that it may work, but AVAYA will not help you if it doesn't work. Currently only the 6408, 6416 and 6424 or the DSS module are supported for IPOffice. Depending on the firmware in the 6402, the IPOffice may mistake the 6402 for a 6408 and treat it as such. Give it a whoral, but I wouldn't set out to buy a 6402 and expect it to work.

I would say that the 6402 will "work" but have the same problem as the 6408 (not 6408D which is fine) namley that it is not posible to use the redial key on the phone.
when this is pressed the system displays a list of the last known numbers for the user to select.
no display means that the cannot be selected.

this is why non display phones are not supported.
