I have Interalia digital announcement units.

How do they connect to a Legend 6.1?

How do I record annoucements on them?

Anyone know how?

DAU's ae used for the queue primary and secondary anouncements. They attach to a tip/ring port off the Legend, and are addressed by that extension number when setting up the calling group primary and secondary announcements. If you are not able to find an instruction manual for these, there may be a port on the device to plug in a phone or phone line for recording of the messages. TipHelp@charter.net

There is a way to record new announcements with handset, but it appears not to work.

I have the manual and I follow the instructions, but they appear not to work.

Hi charleshagen,

Not knowing what model DAU you have, there are probably some dip switches on the back of the unit for configuring it. If the manual does not help, try calling Interalia @ 800-531-0115! I have called them in the past for battery replacement info and they were very helpful. The model I worked on was the MMU2- series. Also try their web site:

they have manuals in PDF and tech notes that can be downloaded.
