manager mistakenly unplugged this phone from the wall now the display does not work. the phone does but the display does not work. I seem to remember these digital phones have feature codes built in them to activate or deactivate the phone features. Does anyone remember them of have any suggestions,

thank you in advance

display may need external power transformer to work. check for 400B2 adapter and -48vdc power unit to not be connected. compare to a working phone. speakerphones, displays, adjuncts for digital sets and consoles require power. Sometimes powered on the white-brown pair of the phone from a closet or all the way back to the phone switch. Can be powered by a local transformer.

Hi
Bret pointed you in the correct direction. The 8434DX requires a seperate power supply. It works for phone only withot the 1151 power or what T3 (Bret) told you. I have Five of them woking in at 2 sights in Ohio. The nOrth sight has a 4 wire and the central has a 2 wire card. This is a good reliable atttd-backup or for the attendant its self.
IT MUST have power for the display to light up
Also on programming in the G3 it only accepts 8434D the X does not work for sta type
Remember to set the speaker for the current location
also GOOGLE the manual for it.
The speaker phone eorks as good, if not better, than a conference phone. DON'T forget to optimize the speaker
Take Care
Chris
