Difficulty printing Photoshop files

has anyone any idea why i cannot print something from photoshop?
i had a large document (10mb) which the computer refused to print, telling me that there was "not enough memory on disc". there are 7gigs spare on that (recently defragged) hard disc.
i reduced the file to 2.5mb but with the same results. i even tried writing the document to a cd and then printing it. that didn't work, either. i was still being told that there was not enough memory.

It could well be that your printer can't handle such a big file. You should make a duplicate of it, flatten the image and save it in a format that will take less than 0.5 megs.
