difficulties found while installing crystal report v 8.5 in windows xp 1

Hi..

I was working with visual basic 6.0 and crystal reort 7.0. and my o.s was windows98..Now i got the windows xp system, and i have installed vb 6.0 and crystal report 7.0. but then it showed some errors while installing crystal report some 'ordinal not found' error. when i opened my vbproject it showed error while loading the forms which have got the crystal report control. so i have uninstalled it and installed crystal report 8.0. the installation was successful..but the embedded control wasn't found..again it is showing the error while loading the forms which have got crystal report control..can u please help me what to do?

Consider a rewrite to use the RDC, not the OCX.
