I've been looking around and a lot of the posts I have found on this are old. I'm wondering if anything has changed in the last couple releases.
Going to be putting in an IP Office 500v2 r8.1 (can go to r9 if we need to for this functionality). The client has two businesses and are up and around the office much of the time using their headsets, so they can't always look at the phone to see which line would be ringing. They answer the different lines in different ways. We are going to set them up on a PRI. I can set it up in anyway I need to - huntgroup ring for some lines or direct dial if I need to. Basically any way the phone or the system will allow me to have a separate ring for one number as opposed to another. We've thought about the analog ringer option and are trying to avoid that if possible. The client doesn't really like that idea.
Most of the information I have found says, no, it's not possible. But, again, I'm hoping maybe something has changed since most of the posts I found have been old.
The phones we will be working with are 1403, 1603, and 9508.
Thanks for the help!
