Hello,

Im using Outlook 2000 sp3 and i can enter 3 email addresses for each contact, eg one for home, work and alturnate. However if i look in the address book when i am writing a mail it only shows labels E-mail 1, E-mail 2 and E-mail 3 under the contact rather than the address. How do i know which is which?

Is there a way i can enter the words home, work.... so i dont have to remember what e-mail entry relates to what type of address?

Thanks for your help.

under the name you can add that to it for your sake ... like default storage/reference to email address/name is :

"firstname lastname" <email@domain.com>

you can change it so :
"firstname lastname WORK" <email@domain.com>
"firstname lastname HOME" <email@domain.com>
Then when you're sending the mail you type the name, then modify the end of the "alias" so you can differentiate the different email addresses
