We have a member of staff who is receiving nuicance calls from an ex-partner. I am now using symposium to trap the incoming number and terminate the call.
The first step is to change the users personal DN, inconvienient but necessary.
Then creat ethe original DN as a CDN. Setup a variable of type CLID and load it with the all the numbers you wish to block. Then a very simple script.
----------------------------
IF CLID = blocked then
disconnect
end if
A little bit nasty I know but why not try the following,
Build a phantom DN and place the originating CLI / ANI onto that extension, Then write a script that when a certain CLI matches it routes to the Phantom, which does a DCFW to the local authorities, They will then pick uo the originating CLI and the last laugh will not be on the idiot that started it all.
