When the DirecTV guy installed my satellite last year he mentioned that there are two different types of F type connectors. The female-to-female ones you buy at the store, like Home Depot, have a white center. The ones he used had a blue center (I think). He said the ones with the white center will cause signal loss or something with satellite. Is this true? If so, does anyone make wall plates or adapters with a blue center?
