We are using a database in Access 2013, but the original file was created in perhaps Access 2000. It was later upgraded to ACCDB and actually the version the users use is ACCDE. Anyway, the original file got a bit corrupt (I couldn't delete things like queries and such and other strange behaviors). So after reading about the problem I made a new file (in Access 2013) and copied all forms, reports and all over in the new file. Suddenly control elements like buttons looked much different. I've learned that was because "Use Windows-themed Controls on Forms" was ticked in the new one, but not the old.
So now the new works and looks just the old one...for me and most others. However I have a lot of users complaining about dates becoming ### (not enough space in text boxes) and I can see some labels are way too small for it's text suddenly. It's the same fonts of course, same size (fontsize 8), I haven't changed anything, but I have confirmed it's the same in properties on the form in the new database and the old.
As mentioned it displays perfectly on my own computer. I can change my screen resolution and also the Display font size thingy in Windows to both 100% and 125%, doesn't change a thing. A user with the problem, with whom I've been testing, has the problem no matter Display size or resolution.
What is it I'm overseeing?
