Can price 2-10 of a menu item be used for different sizes of an item? E.g. $5 for small pizza, $7 for large etc

Yes, you can. Yuu will need to enable the Menu Levels (in Menu Item class enable price 2 - 20). Probably also want to check print Menu Level Prefix. Then in POS Config -> Revenue Center -> RVC Transactions, Menu Levels tab you can name what each price level means and assign a prefix.

Ah. You will need to create a small/medium/large button on the touchscreen, Category Function: Transaction, and then use either Main Level 1 or Sub Level 1, depending on which levels you're going to use.

This means that same price level can be associated with different things like happy hour, size etc.

For example lets say small pizza is $5 and Large is $10. But during Happy hour, Small is $3 and Large is $5. We can have pizza with price 1 as $5, price 2 as $10 and price 3 as $3 and assign price level 1 to either Happy hour price or s small size price.

Am I correct?

Yes. You have a total of 20 price levels you can manipulate (main and sub level), though you can only assign 10 prices to the item itself.

Oh I see. Thanks a lot for the info. Really appreciate it.
One more question. I know that prices can be changed using menu levels. Auto menu levels are used to change levels automatically for let's say during happy hours.
But how do I change the level using size? Like where do i enter sizes like small, medium etc and level associated with it?

Is there a tutorial which explains this?

I don't have any other info on it, as I mainly support the 9700 system.

As Moregelen pointed out you will need to make a key on your touchscreen that changes menu level. The server would need to touch that button to make that price level active. You use the level prefix so it would show up on the screen as that level name and item. It would show up on the remote printers that way as well once programmed properly.
So say you wanted price level 2 to be your small. Make prices 2 - 10 active for that menu class. Program a price in for the item you want to small as price 2. Put in a level prefix "SML". Program a key on your screen that changes the level to level 2. Clicking that button first should bring up your "SML" modifier with correct small price.

There are instructions for setting up levels in the help files of the POS Configurator.
