Different Service Packs for Different users

Will different Service Packs for Different users contaminate the database? My database is doing some strange things and I think it might be because one of my users is on Micorsoft SP1 and everyone else is on SP2. Has anyone else run into this problem? Thanks
 
It's not likely. What can help isolate your problem and/or mitigate your risk is for you to split the data ('backend') from everything else ('frontend'), then either give everyone their own copy of the frontend or at least keep a backup of the frontend somewhere else.
