Different ring tone for LINE key opti

Hello,

I am trying to assign a different ring tone to a LINE key. I do't want it to sound the same as the primary key. I can change the LINE key ring tone in the HiPAth 4k V5 Web GUI, but it does not change the actual ring on the phone. All lines ring the same as the primary always.

Any ideas?

In the KCSU AMO you can change the ring tones

I realize you said opti, but if memory serves me correct you can pus the + / - key when the phone is idle and then a menu comes up and allows you to select ring volume or ring tone, etc and then press checkmark to save it (or OK). The openstage are similar - if you hit the +/- key it will open up a menu and ask what you want. If you don't have display phones I believe there are codes set up in wabe.

From the book for optiset basic:
Press + or - key
Press 2 and tone will sound
Press other keyboard keys until chosen tone is heard
Press + and - simultaneously to save.

Apparently all the optipoint phones have displays so that should work with + / - and the display, otherwise try the same process.

Also if you use the GUI (Assistant) to change the line volume or tone make you you have a checkmark in the box next to it - otherwise I believe it uses the defaults in the phone.
