Hi,
I am using an LDAP browser (LdapAdmin.exe) to query a public LDAP database. The browser returns ~2800 entries. I've now written a macro in Excel to do the same thing, and it returns over 3500 entries. Each entry is simple and only has a few attributes. Is there an obvious reason why this could happen? I suspect the LDAP browser is performing some standard 'exclusion' (e.g. not including records that are flagged for deletion - if there is such a think in LDAP). I am new to LDAP.
Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
