hi there

i cant seem to figure out how to change the prices of the items for lunch and dinner, but the items are the same just the prices change.

if anyone could help me out with this i will be really greatfull

thanx

Well there are two ways.
My First question is if there is a difference in the serving size between the two meal periods.

If this is the case you should make new items and put them on a different sub menu and have that menu applied during the proper time.

If they are truely exactly the same then you can use the price change option to effect the item price.

You will need to create a price change group, say number 10 and call it Dinner.

You can pick the items from the list and check the box to make them active and enter the new price.

After you have set all the prices you just need to create an event to make the price change active at the time you want.

If you you have questions contact me and I can help you program it off the list.

As an additional note, in the Aloha hierarchy of pricing, in order for price changes to occur, the item on the sub menu MUST be set on "use item price", or a price level.
Good luck!! :)
