Different jpg image per detail line/record from a location field 1

I have a file of records each of which contains lots of data fields and a a file name location field ( eg. 'C:\MyFolder\MyImageNo104.jpg' ).

I would like to be able to show the actual image for each row on the detail line of the report.

In other words you would see a different image on each detail line of the crystal report based on one field value which is different for each record.

Really stuck on this. Any help would be appreciated. I am using Crystal Reports 10.

you should be able to insert a 'placeholder' image and then right click on it, choose format graphic, select the picture tab, click on the 'x+2' next to Graphic Location. you should then be able to insert the field you need and it will look to the location for each individual and load their image.

When I go into the 'picture' tab I don't get the option for a 'X+2' next to a graphic location. Which version of crystal reports are you using? I have version 10.

I add the picture by slecting Insert->Picture from the drop down menu.

Dynamic images were introduced in version 11 (XI).
