Different height: issue around wrapper div

It does what you ask it to do. It is as high as the body element, which is as high as the html element, which is as high as the browser window. IE6 ignores the fact that you have put restrictions on height and keeps extending the div. Other browsers respect the height you gave it.

For all other browsers, you could use min-height instead of height and that should work. For IE6 (because it does not support min-height) you will have to use a hack.

Hi Vragabond, the min height wont work on this page as it needs to extend with a dynamic list that will be generated in that grey box according to different hotels connections to travel agents.

Im not sure how im going to get over this now.

no sorry got it wrong slightly, the grey area will stay the same size, but the 'Tour Operators' bit inside the left div inside the wrapper div will grow according to the number of tour operators.

The page you gave is no longer available so I cannot recheck. But if you will put a height of 100% on the element, don't expect it to extend beyond 100% in any standards-compliant modern browser.
