Different Ext numbers

Can anyone throw any light on the following problem - I have a Meridian Option51 at the main site and a Norstar Modular at a remote location.
Extensions at remote site are accessed via code 74 followed by Ext no.
At the remote site I have an extension (262) that anyone on the local switch calls by dialling 262 (as you would expect!) but anyone on the option 51 dialling 74-262 gets ringing no reply, if they dial 74-251 they get Ext 262.
Ext 251 is not allocated on Norstar Modular system.
Which end has the problem and what could it be???

Howi,

It seems like there is some dialing translation completed in the Option 51. What you need to do is determine what sort of dn 74 is, that way you can follow up how 251 is changed to 262 and how 262 is changed to something else.
