Different CLID getting sent to different users in the same office - Cov Remote vs EC500?

Just had an odd trouble ticket show up. Woman in one of our remote offices (S8300 / G700, no VM, 3.1 software) call and ask to have calls that are forwarded to her cell show the OFFICE CLID rather than her callers.

When I talked to her, she tells me that all her coworkers get the office CLID showing on extended calls. The only difference I can find is that she's got EC500 enabled as well as a coverage path using her cell as a coverage remote destination. I checked a random sampling of the other phones there and most of them do not have EC500 enabled.

Does the EC500 make the difference in what shows up as the CLID of the call that's been forwarded to her cell? Is it as simple as shutting off EC500 and letting the call forward via the coverage path?

Either call type should show the far end # outside the system as CLID as far as I know.
It might have more to do with what cell provider she's using or what trunks you're using to call her cell.

Do a station trace and see what you're sending to her cell when her desk forwards there.

Trunks should all be the same - there's only the one PRI in the office. I was waiting until she gets o the office so I can test with her EC500 on and off... but I just checked, and her station shows up as EC500 enabled... but there's no entry for her station in the Stations With Off-PBX Telephone Integration table.

I'd be also looking at the tandem-calling-party-num table...

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

It's the config field in off-PBX command. I have two configs - set one to show 5 digit extension and another to show main 800 number, So yes ec500 can have different CLID depending how it's configured.

You mean, you have two different config sets created and just pick and choose which one to use? Interesting - I didn't know that.

But we only have one config set in this particular office. I've been working with the agent, and she can't tell me any other agent who is getting the office CLID showing up. I suspect that she's thinking of when someone actually CALLS another agent from the office.
