Working on an NS700. I have (2) companies working off of the same NS700.

Company "A" is working fine. They're open from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The phones ring during the day for (20) seconds and go to their AA if not answered. During non-business, calls automatically go to their night AA.

Company "B" rings fine during the day but they would like their phones to be answered by their ICD group mailbox 602 at 4:30pm, not 5:00pm. Unfortunately, our distributor is not very good at troubleshooting the NS700.

I have changed the UM Service Group Number and VM Trunk Group Number to 2 on their lines (10.2). I have changed "Overflow to Mailbox for Call to ICD Group" to disable (3.7.1). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can do this this two ways

1/
setup tenants on the system

company A tenant 1 and company b tenant 2,

set ddi or dil for each tenant/ extensions in user group( which is set to a tenant) for each company to the correct tenant

you then use time service button on each company to switch on their own night mode( time service key with tenant number in second field) at what ever time they want or automatically in week table

second method would to have a break mode set in time service. company B set time service into break when leaving and set ring mode for break for company A same as day, Company B same as night. when Company A leave they put it into night and both company's will ring normal night mode

So it would look like this?:

Day Lunch Break Night
A. 601 601 601 500
B. 602 602 500 500

If this is correct, the only other thing I need to do is put "Night" buttons on the phones and obviously set the time mode to "Manual", correct? Thanks again.

yes that would work, you could set it to automatic and do the correct time changes for each mode, or a time service button on both reception phones so they can both control it

That worked beautifully, thank you. They would prefer it to go on automatically. For it to work in auto mode, would I assign my 2nd ICD group, 602, to be assigned to tenant 2 and then under 2.4 (week table) assign their time schedule to table 2?

you are mixing the two options up. if you want to use tenants you have to set both company's as separate tenants and time tables

to use one table, it is the same as them doing it manually, you can set day mode from 8am to 4:30pm, night from 4:30pm - 8am next day then break start from 4:30pm and ends at 5 pm
