Hi all,

I need to know the impact if we have differences in the character set for sorting between Latin1_general_cp1_CI_AS or Latin1_general_CI_AS.

Will this have any impact on a running ssystem or a second Instance in one server ?

kind regards
uwe

There sholdn't be any sorting differences between those two. They are both using case-insensitive and Accent-Sensitive.

SQL Instances are totally independant of each other. Settings in one do not effect the settings of another weither they are on the same server or another server.
