Do CICS LS/DS cards work in a MICS cabinet. I want to upgrade 8x24 CICS to an 0x32 and if I could I would to take the trunk cards out of the cics and put them into the mics. I've noticed some lsds cards had we just got in stock and some seem to be keys(slotted) differently. is there an easy way by looking at the LS/DS card to tell what type of ksu it goes in. Sorry for the two part question here. Thanks again.

LS/DS in CICS is same as MICS. If ICS is in the name, they interchange.
COMPACT ICS or
MODULAR ICS

The older LS/DS cards for 8X24 before ICS were slotted differently. I have heard of people filing down the notch and using them on the newer platforms, but I think the notch is probably for a reason. The older ones probably pull more current. Please don't quote me on that because I haven't proved it.

I believe in the past, the non slotted cards were for the trunk modules, i don't know if that is still the case.

If you are referring to an 8 X 24 (good old systems) then they dont have LS/DS cards in them.
Lets put is this way, if you can take the LS/DS card out of a system you can use it in a new MICS
