Hi,
I need to have a report legend displayed below the report name and above the data table only on the first page of the report.
I placed it in text boxes to look like a tabular format. This previews as expected in the VS2005 preview screen. However the text boxes are all over the screen when I run the report in IE after its deployed to the report server. (I did place the legend in a table tied to no dataset, this worked fine. But it prevents me from adding a second dataset to the report, so moved the legend to text boxes.)
The data table has two columns tied to a data set. In the group header, each of these columns has a table (linked to the same dataset) embedded in it. When previewed, these embedded tables are aligned at the top as expected. But when deployed and viewed in IE, the two tables do appear side by side, but seem to be aligning centers.
I am not sure if I have explained the issue properly, so please do ask questions, if any. I am wondering if anyone else has faced this or similar scenarios and / or how this may be resolved.
Thanks.
