Hi

I'm not sure where to post about this but it is Windows 7 so here goes.

Today I notice that the display on my wifes new 17" Dell Studio laptop looked very fuzzy while she was browsing in Google Chrome.

I switched to Mozilla which is also installed and the display looked fine.

I reduced the display (She enlarges it to make it fill the screen side to side) to it's native resolution.

Even though the images and type now appeared smaller in Chrome then on the same page in Mozilla, the type still looked very fuzzy compared to Firefox. There were also differences in the color.

I don't have a clue why the display looks different from one browser to the other.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?

Mike

Hi Linney

I did as suggested and Whoo Hooo! the type in looks just as sharp in Chrome as it does in Mozilla.

I don't get what caused this.
It isn't a matter of turning any thing on, like "Smooth edges of screen fonts" because these were already active.

It appears that something that was turned off in the process caused the problem.

I did the same thing on my new PC and while I hadn't noticed that the display looks fuzzy it did look a little sharper after I did it.

Weird, I don't really get it but at least it solved the problem.

As long as it stays sharp and crystal clear, all the best.
