what is the differnce between VPN and terminal service?
is this a remote session too? can you run an application through VPN?

im new at this VPN connection please help..

Errr a VPN connection is an encrypted pipe between two networks usually betweem 2 corporate networks or between a corporate network and a remote user.

It allows them browsr the corporate network as if they were on the Lan.

A terminal service is well a terminal server session. like a remote desktop.
