Hi all,
I want to know how to make the difference between two oracle date fields in seconds.

there are 86400 seconds in a day so trunc((field 2 - field1)* 86400) ought to do it, I use 86399/86400 quite a lot, myself The one thing you can't give for your heart's desire is your heart. - Lois McMaster Bujold
