I have a pair of 3750G switches on 12.2(55)SE-IPServices
I'm working on SPAN between these two switches. Each of these have trunks to other Cisco switches. My question is really what properties of a channel group make it different from a trunk. Is is simply a bonded group of ports in a logical (aka larger) trunk.

Thanks in advance.

trunk = pass multiple vlans over a single link
channel-group (i.e. etherchannel) = aggregated bandwidth of two or more links

you can make an etherchannel link into a trunk link.

I hate all Uppercase... I don't want my groups to seem angry at me all the time! =)
