Difference between powerplay for windows and powerplay for web

Can someone give some difference between powerplay for windows and powerplay for web in terms of thier features.

see thread401-777818 for indication of functionality difference. I would expect the differences to narrow in future releases, due to the popularity of the web product.

In practical terms, it comes down to what you need (and can afford): if you have a user that needs to view cubes off-line, they will need the client (or the excel add-in) and a copy of the cube; if you have users that want remote access on web-enabled machines, they'll need PP web.

In my experience, the users are more comfortable with the web version, as the interface is more friendly, especially with the added functionality of Upfront.
