Difference between Notes email import 4.5 and 5.5 using lotus 123 file

Here is what I do not under stand but hope there is a setting in Notes 5 that can be set to stop this issue.

First step: Run crystal 8 report and export as a lotus 123(wks) file.
Step two: Open a new Memo mail in Notes.
Step3: Import into the body of the email the lotus123(wks) file.


Problem:
In the notes memo 4.5 the grid lines do not show for the area that the lotus123(wks) file occupies.

In notes memo 5 the grid lines for the lotus 123(wks) file do show.

If anyone can help please do.

Issue: We do not want the grid lines to show in notes memo 5.

Is there a setting in notes 5 to prevent this????????
