Hi everybody:

I'm currently using Microsoft Visual C++ .NET 2002. I've seen screenshots of Microsoft Visual C++ .NET 2003. Can somebody tell me if there is a big difference between two? And whether I should upgrade or not?

Thanks in advance...

2003 is way more standard compliant than 2002. It finally allows msvc to support partial template specialisation but still no export. If you use heavy duty templating features then its probably worth upgrading otherwise i would wait for the next version which you can download in beta form already from microsofts site.

Also the solutions are one way - if you upgrade to 2003, you can't go back to 2002.

Also forgot to mention: do not install 2002 on top of 2003. Do a new installation. If you install one on top of the other, it just messes up the machine.

Thanks guys. Just installed .NET 2003 to try. I'm using it with C++. I should admit I like that folding tree control on the left side of the Text Edit Pane, but what I don't get is where's "Parameter Info" context menu command for API's and functions?????
