Can anyone tell me the differences between Integrated Messaging System (IMS) Lite and Pro?

V/

IMS is not supported on VM Lite, only is a feature of VM Pro with a additional IMS License.

Voicemail Lite can send Voicemail messages to email as per the options under user/voicemail. However VM Lite uses a MAPI connections and so must have a outlook client or MAPI client installed and configured, try and stay away from Office XP or 2003 because it has MAPI restrictions that you must unlock to get it going. VM Lite when a email is sent will not place the CLI in the subject feild of the email.

Voicemail Pro will put the CLI in the subject field when using standard Voicemail to Email feature, you can also use SMTP or MAPI as the method of sending emails. With VM Pro you are also able to use IMS.

Hope this helps

As said elsewhere, IMS Lite was the marketing name that was applied to the Voicemail Email feature of Voicemail Lite/Pro.

Just what I was looking for! Can you pass on some more details?

Thanks,

Peter
