Difference between DTP and Graphic Design 1

Hi to all!!

I've got a question and i'm not sure whether this is the correct forum to post it but really i can't find any other forum more appropriate.

What is the difference between Desktop Publishing software and Graphic Design & Document Presentation software?

Adobe Photoshop, Pagemaker, Illustrator, CorelDraw, Microsoft Publisher are they DTP or GD?
