difference between dect aund analog/digital lines

hi to y all!

mxone/dna 5.6

when calling an analg/digital line you have to enter the cursor key ? to make the extension ring
when calling a dect handset (dt690) the extension rings immediately

why is this and can it be changed?

Dect is generic extn -any generic acts the same and it can't be changed.I think if Pelpi is programed on digital/analog it also is the same
