Difference between comcode 700505424 and 700505424MP - 9608G 1

Hi everyone,
I was looking at picking up some secondhand handsets and I've come across a comcode that I haven't seen before.
The phone is a 9608G however instead of the usual comcode 700505424, it has 700505424MP.

Is anyone aware what the MP is for at the end of a comcode and if there is anything different about the device itself?

With a bit of Googling I think it may be for the Multi Pack version. But I could be wrong.
