Whats the difference between AC1 and AC2, and going deeper, btwn NPA, NPX etc and DSC, TSC, LOC, SPN etc...???

Go For It Even If It's Impossible !

The original though proccess for that was on-net off-net dialing typically AC1 would be 9 for off-net NPA/NXX/TFN/
AC2 would be on-net for site it site tie lines back before carrier virtual ties and was typically 7 or 8. All it stands for is Access Code and the PBX knows immediately where to look. Now it seems AC1 is used for everything a lot of times and another whole block isn't lost, this is a small amount of info.

NPA - are code long distance 1 plus dialing
NXX local exchanges. 9 1 (area code) 555-1212 =
(NPA) NXX-Destination number block.

SPNS would (use to ) fall under both AC1 and AC2 but included international Toll-free 911, site codes that couldn't be LOC codes. plenty more, but that all I'm typing....it's all about routing, and fooling the user to make their dialing easier a lot of times.
