I see that the 617F29 module is for the Magix. But can it be used in the Legend too? An online company that sells these says yes. Are there any issues with mixing and matching the 617F29 and 517C29 408 cards ? I figure someone here has probably tested this before. They appear the same, only the jacks are the reverse direcion for the keystone/plug.

Diff of a 617F29 vs. 517C29 ?

Generally, you can mix & match Legend and Magix modules. There are some exceptions but I don't think these 2 boards fall into that category.
The 617F29 is a 408GS/LS-ID/MLX module. The 517C29 appears to be the Legend version BUT the 4 telephone lines will not support Caller ID.
If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.
