What is the diff. between Brio & Crystal Report

Thanks,
Shankar.

They are totally different animals. Brio is an OLAP tool - what's sometimes referred to as "Slice & Dice". It's interactive and will generate views of the data like a crosstab. You can add sub-totals and group any way you want by just dragging a colum from one section to another.

Crystal is used to generate reports in whatever format you like. You could even print invoices with it - since it's very flexible in aligning the data. It does not do crosstab type of reports (like a full year's of data) very easily unless your data is already structured that way.
