Hi
This may sound stupid. But I think it is better to ask rather than remaining in the dark. So Can anybody tell me the difference between WAN ,web and internet
There is a slight distinction between the 'world wide web' and the 'internet'.
The 'world wide web' is technically the pages that (were originally just html, but now includes scripts and such) are viewed with a 'web' broswer such as IE or Netscape.
To put a finer point on smah's response, the "internet" is technically the physical side of the web - the routers, switches, cables, and other connections that allow us to view web pages around the world. In terms of being blurred to the point of being the same, we can't have the "web" without the "internet" and if we didn't have the "web" there wouldn't be much point in having an "internet".
There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!
