Will a BCM50 support DID trunks? I have heard that it will not. The only way to get DID numbers if via T1 or PRI. It will handle POTS lines but not DID.

Help.

Analog DID is supposed to be part of BCM50V2 estimated 4Q 2007

Yes it will handle a T1 or PRI. You can run DID on analog trunks but with pricing these days it does not make sense.

dbullion,

The current BCM50 does not support Analog DID trunks.

I have never tried it on a BCM so thanks for the heads up. But I was talkng more in general terms. It has been a very long time since it has made sense to use DID Trunk Catridge even in a Norstar.

Thanks everyone. This is good info. I'm going to go with a partial PRI.

Even though DID trunks are more expensive, they can typically be installed in less than 2 weeks. Sometimes even one.

I have to wait about 3 to 4 weeks for my PRI's and these guys are eager to pass out there cards.
