I have a mod ics with 6.0 software it is configured with 2 T1 one is connected to PSTN with DID # I have their main # going to a target line 200 and that is set to ring on station 1000 and 1001. when a call comes in it rings at both stations but once ex 1000 answers a call, the next caller rings at ex 1000 but not ex 1001. how can it ring on both phones all of the time so they can answer it?

Sounds like you may have IF BUSY set to prime and prime is 1000.
a. Try changing the prime set for that DID to none and see what happens OR
b. Assign the target line to a hunt group set in broadcast mode and have 1000 and 1001 as members

That seam to have worked but now I have another problem. I have 3 ringing services that are DAY, NIGHT, OUTAGE, and every DID that is programed is ringing in at the front ex1000 as well as the extention it is suppose to ring at. I programed target lines for all of the DID # and set them to private to that extention and set if busy to prime and prime to the ex and still it rings at the main extention, I also checked to make sure that target line was not programed to ring on ex 1000. thanks in advance for your help!

You mentioned the 3 ringing services that you are using, but didn't mention how they are set up. Are they auto? If so, you could make them manual and test each one to see if they are set up wrong. By default, your lead DN is automatically assigned. They are a likely cause, also, what do you have for a prime set on your TRUNKS? Does 1000 ring right away, or is there a delay? You can turn DRT off to experiment and see if that is the way the call is getting to 1000.

By default all lines (including target lines) are assigned to ring group 001 in Ringing Services.

To prevent your DID's from ringing ext 1000, just change the 'control set' for each target line to 'none' (control set is the set that controls night service for the line)

BTW - control set can be found under the SERVICES - COMMON SETTINGS.

...and leave the target lines that you want to use the services alone.(you knew this though, right?)
