Can anyone tell me how to set up DID type trunk groups the correct way. I am using a TN753 DID trunk card. How do I designate what stations the inbound lines hit in my switch. Please some direction here. Thanks.

Someone please help out with this. Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, The calls that come over on a DID trunk is pointed to the DID number that is dialed. This is done through the central office routing. I beleive the reason that you have not had any responces is do to the trunk group tranlations. The trunks for these DID groups can be immediate start, wink-start, or loop start. Depending on what type service you have from your central office on how to build your trunk group on your side.

The extension that the call ends up on a d.i.d. trunk is determined by what digits are being sent by the trunk provider. Usually you tell the trunk provider to send the last 4 digits to your pbx and that is a station that u have set up in the pbx. In the case I am assumming that u have 4 digits extensions. The number of digits would be your extension length that u would see when u do the command "display dial". U can delete or add digits on some trunk cards tranlations(change trunk X)if the trunk provider is sending too many or too few digits.

Did you get you DID trunk group to work? If not I can help. How many digits is your provider sending? The rest should be simple.
