It depends what country you are in. It's done differently depending on where you are. There isn't always a conversion table needed - if the CO delivers the correct digits and a match is found, the extension will ring. Sometime you need to prefix or suppress, or convert a number format...can be done a few different ways. Depends what is being delivered and how.
On our 4K (US), it's DIS-DNIT:GDTR,129; On my system, all toll-free and DID numbers come across from the Telco as 4-digits. The GDTR table points to the internal routing number (INTRTDN). The internal routing number points to the appropriate extension, hunt group, etc. DIS-DNITNI; As Moriendi mentioned, if your extension matches the incoming digits, no entry is required in the DNIT table.
