customer has a MICS with 4.1 s/w and a t1 with DID service. they also have the ASM module and want to use a fax machine. will i just program a target line to one of the ASM extensions?

do I have the ability to external call forward an analog extension. I know how to make the route and so forth, however what would i dial from the analog set (instead of feature 4+...)

You can use an Analog Station Module or Analog Terminal Adapters to connect fax machines, modems, alarm panels and almost anything else that requires an analog line. Just assign the target line to the station.

I've not tried to call forward from an analog station, so I'll leave that question for someone else. You can program the set to CF busy or no answer.

yes you can. There is no way to know if it is forwarded, so to be sure it isn't you need to do F #4 to cancel all forwards. There is a hookflash command that tells the KSU it is a feature you are dialing. Should be in the guide that came with ASM.
