I have scoured the internet and have not found a definite answer. So I'm asking the pros...

I have a BCM 400 and a computer with multiple fax cards in it. My fax server software says it can route faxes based on DTMF/DID conversion.

The idea is that I would have 7 DIDs that point to a pool of 4 fax cards. When the fax card answers, the BCM sends the DID as DTMF tones and the fax server knows where the call is coming from and routes the fax accordingly.

Can the BCM 400 do this? Is there some sort of addon that can accomplish this?

Thanks for any insight that you guys may have. I'm open to ideas.

you'll need a trunk connection (T1/PRI/DID/ E&M ...) between the 2 boxes which can pass DID/DTMF digits

If it is a ring down line (like analog station) it just sends the ring (I dont think this is changed in gasm+)

I believe that explains exactly what I was looking for. Thanks
