we have a 3300 mcd 4.1 embedded vm. is it possible to build an multi level aa with just the DID number? so whenever a call comes in on did number 0500 it goes straight to the aa? i get a busy when i try it. i have tried to build another numer of 1515 as single line on phone key, and its mailbox as aa. this works, however whenever i try to reroute or forward the 0500 i cant get it to work. any ides?

On the embedded voicemail zero is reserved for operator.
So you will have a dial plan issue.
If the telco is sending you 0500 set up a speed dial 0500 = voicemail huint group number.

thanks for the reply, this 3300 exists where there are two seperate businesses. when forwarding to the vm dn it plays the greeting for the other business. i was going to do an alternate greeting but the hrs are different for the day and night mode.

As Waldosworld suggests create a speed dial with 0500, and enter a new hunt group number, that is always forwarded in reroute forms to the voicemail pilot.

Then create a menu node mailbox (mlaa) using the hunt group number.
